Is ther any bleach to dye black hair blonde?

Yes...regular hair bleach. I think L'Oreal sells it under their Feria brand, and you can also find it at any beauty supply store (like Sally's). Be forewarned, ANYTHING you use to lighten your hair WILL cause some damage.

yep, you can get it at the supermarket and at the chemist. Its cheap and it works.

I just finished using RAW's White-Out Bleach Kit. I left it on for about 35-40 minutes and it took it from black to nearly blonde. Since you want it blonde I would suggest leaving it on for an hour or so.

I got it from Hot Topic: http://www.hottopic.com/hottopic/store/p...

You have to use a product that strips the color out of your hair then put on dye the color you want. If you use a good product and conditioner it won't fry it.

I'm no pro, but it sounds like a two-or three-step process to get from black to blonde without frying your hair.

By all means go to a professional for this!

Obviously, since you're asking this, you probably shouldnt do it yourself. I'd reccomend going to a hair salon. Some places will do it pretty cheap. (=

I did this. I used 40 volume bleach (the strongest bleach you can get), and my hair was black. I used 'Hi-Lift' powder bleach, which you have to combine with a 40 volume creme peroxide. The brand i used is 'Salon Plus Pro'. Do this in a well ventilated area, as it can get pretty fumey. Apply the mixture to your hair, working about 3cms away from your roots, down to your tips. THEN put the mixture onto the roots. As the hair closest to your scalp gets quite warm from natural heat generated by your head, the bleach develops faster here, thats why you leave it on for a little while less. You then wrap your head with cling wrap, and leave the bleach to develop, checking on it every 10 minutes or so to see how the colour is developing. Your hair/scalp WILL heat up a little, as a chemical process is taking place. If at any time it feels like it is too hot, take it off and rinse your scalp immediately. As your hair goes through a lot of colour changes to get to blonde from black, you'll have to rinse the bleach out of your hair when it reaches a light yellow colour. Condition your hair really well with a thick, vitamin rich conditioner (pantene is fine if you slather it all over and leave it for a good 20 minutes) to pop some moisture back into your hair. The colour will be a little funny, but in 3-4 days you repeat the bleaching process. Doing the process in two steps means that you wont expieriance as much breakage or dryness. Purchase a good purple toner for your hair, and after you have bleached it a second time, wash it and leave the purple toner in for a little while (but not too long as your hair will go purpley!). As purple and yellow are exact opposite colours, the purple actually works to cancel out and eliminate any yellowy/brassy tones in your newly blonde hair.

Heres a photo of how blonde my hair was, so that you can see my results.

The black streak in my fringe was my original colour.

If you need any extra help, refer to the links below. These helped me a stack when i was trying to figure out how to do it for myself =]

You can try what others suggested but I wouldn't dye your hair blonde, too many people are doing it and frankly not to many people look good in blonde, it looks silly!

I wouldn't recommend doing it you self, but as a hairstylist I can give you a few tips. I don't know where you live, but if you have a Sally's you should go there and get bleach. Then get at least 30 volume. 40 volume if you want to be really blonde. Mix up equal amounts of bleach and developer. If you have previous color your ends and middle of you hair shaft may not lift as well so apply color there first. Then as you see that lightened apply at roots of hair. You roots will lighten up quicker then the rest of you hair so keep a close eye on it. It would be best if you painted this on with a brush. Make sure all of you hair is covered with equal amounts of products and do not leave any dry spots. Your hair will most likely turn orange at first...don't worry let the product sit on until you get your desired blonde. Also turning color from black to blond is a process...so you may have to reapply color at least 2 times. This isn't the best way to lighten your hair, but if you insist on lighting it your self I just wanted to tell you what to expect. Also your hair will damage...so you will most likely need a good trim when you are finished. :) Hope I helped a little.

i have bleached my hair to white before by myself from black.

i found a product that i absolutely adore.

Go to Sally's Beauty Supply (www.sallybeauty.com to find your closest store) and get a bottle of "Born Blonde" by clairol. Youll also need to be three activating packets for it, as well as developer. Its pretty inexpensive, and its a professional dye.

follow the directions on the activating packet to mix it.

then, after applying it to your hair, put on a shower cap and blow dry it, or wrap a towel around your head to keep it warm. it will continue processing as long as there is moisture and warmth. so keep an eye on it. when you reach the color you want, rinse it out.
