How can I make dyed black hair fade faster?

I have naturally light brown/dirty blonde hair that I dye black. It's summer, and I want to fade it to a color that will take in deep, copper red dye like I had it dyed a previous summer. How can I do this?

Wash it with baby shampoo. Why do you think babys has very soft fine hair, it strips hair of all its impurities, including haircolor.

Wash your hair oftent to soften the color, but it won't be able to remove it. You have to wait until it grows. You can also re dye your hair. My advice is work with it for as long as you have it. DRess yourself in a way that will complement you beautiful hair and self. Love Mk :)

wash your hair more often. But as you have light hair it will be slow and difficult.

wash it in prell every day

go get some PRELL shampoo, it will strip out the color faster than other shampoo's. there is also a product i think it's called "oops" or something like that. it strips the color out to your natural color and you should be able to re-color the same day or the next.

One way...BLEACH. I had it dyed black b4 to make it healthier( it works), but then I got tired of the color so I decided to go red. I went to the salon and they wouldn't touch it%26gt;...They said it's too hard to get the black out and that it would get damaged, also that it will come off in patches. Well I did it on my own anyway. Get a strong and fast acting bleach, to minimize damage, let your hair turn to a dark blond or at least a light brown(make sure every strand is soaked with bleach so you wont get any patches) . Also if you don't let it get light enough it'll look blackish. Get your stuff from a sally's or those beauty shops
