How do i fade my black hair?

About two-three weeks ago i dyed my hair, now it said it was a chocolate brown and it came out alot darker, pitch black infact. Now i assumed that it would fade after a couple of weeks but it hasen't. I do not want to strip my hair, just fade it a few shades lighter. i really dislike it as i look totally pale lol. Are there any hair products i can use? Help hair emergency!

Any deep cleansing shampoo will work anything from prell bought at a drugstore to Aveda hair detox also try a malibu or deep conditioning treatment under heat that will get some of the color to fade.

If you use a dandruff shampoo it will help fade out the color a little. Also lemon juice is supposed to help to, but rinse the lemon juice out right away.

firstly i was in the same situation about 2 months ago when i tried dying my hair chocolate brown and it came out black lol.

so i went to the hairdressers and asked them for advice and they said they could not lighten it because it was to dark and the best thing to do is keep washing your hair until aventualy it will go lighter then when its has which takes about 1-2 months you can die your hair a lighter coulour as no colour will work on black.. the best thing to do til then is keep washing and try a darker shade of colour foundation for your face !!!
