Is it possible to dye my black hair semi-permanent so it washes out after?

I know it's really hard to dye black hair, I heard if you want to dye it permanently I have to bleach it first.

But I don't want to dye it permanently, I want a dye that comes out after a few washes. Is this possible for my black hair?

Thanks :)

You could try, but it won't work. It might give it a slight tint in the color you want. If you use a dye that claims that you don't have to prelighten it, it actually DOES have the bleach in it.

If you do want to change it, you will have to bleach it first.

Yes. Just read the description

I want to dye my brown hair black, but I want it temporary.

I don't know of any way you can dye black hair, sorry

I know it's not what you want to hear, but I wouldn't do that!

My hair is really close to black right now and trust me, if you do the semi-permanent thing, it won't wash out. It's too dark, it's like when you do semi-permanent blue hair dye, it's really tough to get out, I would definetly not suggest it,

I have had A LOT of experience with hair dye, i've dyed it WAY TOO much, so I think if you want it black, dye it black, permanantly. If you do the semi it will make your hair look really bad after a few weeks.

Sorry bud
