Will blonde coon stripes in dyed black hair go green?

I'm naturally blonde %26amp; I dyed my hair black at the end of last summer, and re-dyed it black yesterday, and today Im gonna put blonde coon tails in it using some kind of blonde root-touch-up kit. My mum has told me not to do it because it will go green. Although that would be kinda cool, I'm trying to prevent it since un-naturally coloured hair isnt allowed at my school =[ so do you know if it will go green %26amp; if it will what can I use to change it to blonde?

it depends on whether you dyed all of your hair black or just your roots?

if you dyed all your hair, then chances are if you try and put blonde on it, it will go orange... if you only did your roots theres more chance of it going blonde. i dont think it will go green though. i think that will only happen if you go swimming anytime soon in a pool with chlorine in it!

good luck =)

It most definitely will. I see it all the time and I feel those bad for girls....if only someone would have told them to color there hair a variation of red first...then dye it black. The red may be extreme or unflattering to you but Im sure you would hate the green much worst.
