I've just got my hair dyed black again and I LOVE it when it's black but it just constantly seems to fade. I use Dove for darkened hair shampoo %26amp; conditioner aswell..

First, use a hair dye that's more Black/Blue then Black/Brown. The Black/Blue won't fade as much. Hydrience Black Pearl is a very good one.

Second, only use shampoos and conditioners that are black dyed hair, specifically. Not products for dark hair, those are for people whose hair is naturally dark.

You need to get shampoo and conditioner that is for dyed hair. I use Herbal Essences Color Me Happy. And the black in my hair stayes in for a lot longer than it used to.
