Ya, you probably would look goth. If you want to have more depth to your color, go for a rich dark brown. It's softer and you won't look like and Elvis impersonator.

Depends, I mean...do you wear black ALLTHE TIME? If yes, then yeah people are gonna think you're goth but if you dress normal than I don't think that would be a problem. But I think the decision to dye your hair black really depends on your skin tone, but if you're really fair skinned, it's not gonna be cute. You're gonna look hard and mean even if you're not trying to. If you do go black, try not to go jet black so then it won't look so...evil.

i know black or dark colors for the hair is perfect for cold season and light or highlights would be perfect for summer. it would be easier for me to give you my idea if you'll show a picture of yours. to be able to see your skin tone is much easier to tell if black will look good on you. ask your friends or family, they'll know. it's how you carry yourself, simple and tidy looking will suit anybody.=)
