I have brown hair medium skin tone green eyes. could i dye my hair black and not look to pale or odd?

I think black hair would be striking with your skin tone and eyes. You need to make sure and do it right. Why not try with a color that is semi-permanent before you take the deep plunge? Then you could just 'date" the color. I did that when I colored my hair a shade of red. It doesn't give you exactly the same results, but you do get a little bit of an idea of how you will look.
