Is there a way to add highlights and depth to black hair, but still keep the hair black? Should I just focus on keeping my hair shiny?

just focus on keeping your hair shiny...i have naturally black hair, when i press it out and it is shiny i get alot of compliments because it looks beautiful, especially when it is hit with the right light

If its dyed black then i dont think so- if not, sit in the sun for ages then you sort of get dark brown streaks especially in the summer
