How to bleach my black hair.?

I have black (or dark brown) hair right now.and i wanted to bleach part of it, so it was almost white. not perfectly white but really light blonde. but my hair is too dark for regular dye. do you know how i could bleach my hair without going to a salon?

Youd have to buy a whole bunch of supplies, including bleach, toner, and developer.

Black to blonde hair is the hardest thing to do, trust me, I've been through it.

I suggest you go to a salon, however they will probably charge you like mad to only strip the black from your hair, or to get your hair to a brown color.

Go to a Sally's store, get a Wella bleach kit, a 20 or 40 Developer bottle, and a Wella toner (violet based, to combat orange).

Follow the instructions on the bleach box, and cover your hair with the bleach/developer mixture. After the first bleach your hair will probably be either a brown color, or an orange, brassy shade.

Dye your hair about once a week until it gets to a yellow/orange color, and then toner it to achieve an ashy cool blonde shade.

You're gonna have to condition like crazy during the time, and then take very good care of your hair.

u can go to sallys beauty suply and buy bleach from there but just so ya kno it would take u maybe 3 bleaching sessions cuz at firts its gonna be a light orangey brown

i wouldn't suggest it, it could really damage your hair... anything lifted beyond a level 6 i would refer to a stylist.
