Lemons have a natural fruit acid in them, they have the ability to lighten hair, but depending on your hairs texture, i.e. how coarse it is , the amount of lightening ability is dependent on that. Heat is also a factor, When I was a teenager I used to do the lemon juice trick on my hair while I was @ the beach or tanning in the back yard, it did work, but my hair was med. brown %26amp; fine in texture. Pls be careful if you do any other chemical service in a salon as it can affect the outcome of another chemical process in a negative chemical reaction. Your hair could potentially become very dry if you do this on a regular basis so protect your hair by using a Hydrating Conditioner. umm i don't think you will see a difference. Dying your hair is the way to go because it will last longer and look better.

I think that is for blonde's. Black is black. Lighter black is shades of gray. Try a dark brown or medium brown color. They look almost black.
