I have tried some of the temporary mousse dyes that are supposed to dye dark brown/black hair, but they never work. I want to die my hair violet.

Try L'oreal Feria. They have good colors suited for darker hair, I think there is a violet shade too.

go to the salon and get it done!! you dont want to damage yoou hair like i did!! Its better to get it professionly done.

dye it the color you want. it will turn out lovely. i have black hair and i dyed it multiple times an it turned out great

coloring your hair can be VERY complicated. the only way to color your hair without "bleaching " it would be to color it darker. to get you hair lighter you have to bleach it and its permanent. alo if your hair id really dark you have to be careful about lighting bc your hair will turn orange bc the pigment is soo deep in your hair. my best advise go to a salon.

all righty,

if you want to do it On Your Own you have to strip the color from it first. and theres products that take the color completely out of it. (make sure you leave it in long enough.. or itll be orange)

then make sure you get a permanent dye to color it with because the semi-permanent will mess it up because the chemicals. sooo yah.
