I want to temporaryly dye my hair pink but i have black hair!!!!!?

I want to temporaryly dye my pink so i can cosplay as Sakura from Naruto but i have black hair! is there a way to dye my hair without bleaching it?!?!?!

P.S if i cant dyde my hair pink can i temporaryly dye it pink and put pink highlights in my hair to cover the black parts?

You can try looking for the costume spray on dye maybe at a costume store. You you the stuff they usually have around Halloween time. It's usually just a can that you spray on your hair then when you wash it the spray comes right out. For dying there is no way that I know of to do it over black without bleaching. The spray on hair coloring is probably you best bet.

covering black hair is pretty much impossible. you hafta lift the black out-which means bleach.

You'd have to "lift" your natural color by using "bleach" (not Clorox) until it's blonde and then put the pink over it. Go to a salon. Trust me, if you try to do it yourself, you might not be happy with the results.

You'll need to bleach it,first. Bleaching will get the black out of your hair,thus making it easier to die your a hair a light color.

Just use pink hairspray. Easy to get on and to wash off and you don't need to worry about what it will do to your hair.

Impossible without bleach if you want to dye.

Without bleaching you cannot put other lighter colors on your hair because it doesn't "stick" to your hair.

If you insist, then your pink will only look like a very light pink... because the black "absorbs" all the color..

Don't even use spray!!!!!! Temp hair colors are full of alcohol and can cause damage to your hair. If you want temporary, invest in a wig and rip that SOB off when you are ready to go back black. Get a good lace front, your friends will be jealous and wondering how in the hell did get pink hair. Lace fronts are put on like a toupee'. Tyra Banks, Beyonce, RuPaul, etc. all wear lace fronts.

They are right, you would have to lift your hair to a bleach blond, which may take several applications over several weeks, then put a pink semi-permanent color on it! All of the chemical lifting will be hell on your hair and when you finally go back black you will have soooo much damage.

Temporary means temporary; get a WIG

I have a lot of experience when it comes to dying hair i've been doing it since i was13 i'm now 23 and i have dark hair and unfortunatly temporary hair dyes dont have the same effect they dont show up as good on dark hair and they fade really quick pink highlights would look nice but it's whether you want to use a bleach product and even those fade quite quickly unless you use colour seal gloss i hope i've gave you some food for thought.

I watched a girl having her hair dyed pink at hairdressing college but it was a while ago now. From what i can remember she had her hair bleached first, rinsed and then another product(Paintbox...i think) was applied to put pink into the hair. As with other "artificial shades" it doesn't last for very long so you would have to reapply or use another shade over the bleached areas. Hope this helps you.

I'd also go for a wig. It's probably cheaper and will do less damage to your hair. And, if you get a decent wig, it might even look better.
