Did you use permanent color, semi or demi?

I know you don't want to hear this, but if you used permanent or demi, you should wait at least a month. The color will fade by then and be easier to color over. If you must color before then, take extra special care of you hair before you color again.... lots of conditioning treatments, hot oil treatments, protein treatments....and get your ends trimmed. 1/8 of an inch should be enough. To correct the color and get the color you really want...GO TO A PROFESSIONAL....especially since your hair is permed..

Would you rather have a bad color or have your hair fall out?

ok well girl one ? is it washable dye?? if so wait two days and wash most of the color out, then give it a rest for a nother two days then dye it back

Try rinsing it with hot water now and then dye it in a couple weeks.

You can dye your hair a different color that very same day. Putting color into your hair is not as damaging as taking it out. If you went for a lighter color, adding color will put some nutrients back into your tresses. Just don't go wild and color your hair every other day, that is damaging.

If it is a permanent dye then you will have to wait at least 2-3 weeks before you can put a perm in your hair. I would try to just do a semi permanent color. Putting two different colors on top of a perm could really damage your hair. Or maybe try a beautician just this one time to help you with the situation.

No one thinks your racist...calm down. I am black myself and your right, not all products work on every type of hair. If you colored your hair yourself, it probably didn't turn out the way you would've liked it too. I've been there too. I would say wait a week, and if the sun doesn't turn it to the color you wanted it, dye it again, but use a really great hair conditioner afterwards, because your hair is going through so much. You can also go to a hairstylist and ask them to condition or color it for you. Go to someone specializing in healthy hair..and a someone experienced with doing black hair. Good Luck

If it was a permanent color, it might be wise to wait 2 weeks, in order to avoid hair breakage/damage. Semi-permanent is less harsh, you could wash that out and color it again. I always use the Loreal products when dying my hair %26amp; I have had no problems. (no breakage, no drying ever)

I would skip the relaxer if the color is a bigger issue, you could always flat iron your hair straight.

Wait a week because if you lightened your hair the darker color might not take. Also it might brake off so I advise you to wait so your hair can strengthen. If you cant wait a few weeks then get a semi-permanent hair color like a "cellophane" to darken it for now. Jazzing makes a good one and it does not have any peroxide in it so your hair wont fall out in the process.

Then one week before you go back to school dye it back to its normal color and your hair should be fine. To be honest with you. I have colored my hair one day then the next day darkened it because I didn't like the way the color turned out. Luckily my hair did not fall out but everyone is different though. It depends on how strong your hair is. If you do color your hair tomorrow then when you finish coloring it use a product called "aphrogee". It stops hair breakage from happening when you over dye or process your hair. It doesn't smell to good though but it works! Lol...Also make sure you keep your hair well conditioned.

It will never go back to the normal color. It will probably have some different shades to it.
