The black just wont stick around my roots. And someone told me that black hair dye gives you brain damage. lol

4-6 weeks is when youre supposed to redye your whole head, but i like using a "touch up" kit. means you have to dye it less because you just get the roots. i personally have 210 blue black garnier 100% in my hair now. Clairol nice n easy root touch up is what i used when i had a jet black. it matches your exact shade. it costs a little less because theres less dye since its just for youre roots, and they have a very convenient brush for dying roots!

oh and any haircolor will damage your brain cells if and only if you dye your hair in an unventilated area and breathe it in for a nice long time. thats why they have vents in the bathrooms!

might i also recommend to keep your color beautyiful and even enhance it use midnight expressions by pantene pro-v shampoo and conditioner. it really helps!

nah no brain damage you're fine. but you could use a natural one that isn't as harsh. by the way, I see your picture and black hair looks very un natural and harsh on you, maybe you should try a golden brown or something. or at least fill in your eyebrows with black eyebrow pencil.

u can use hennah instead the black one and u do not have to dye it every two monthes,beside u dye ur hair every two monthes damn that is so bad at least let ur hair relax between each time(at least 6 monthes)or latter u will suffer from dryness and breakends.

ok the brain damage part, that's not true... But here is a problem: if you'r like me and lke to do a different thing with your hair each month or so, maybe black, then red, or even go extreme to blonde, then you do NOT want to die your hair black more then once! I love to die my hair, and it's not dying or brital, but i died my hair black 3- each month 1 time for 3 months. Now no other color will stick to my hair or show up, and i have to wait until it grows completely out and fades at the ends before Ican try and dye it or I will have red roots and black hair. But really it's your descion, if you want black hair then do it! You'll still have all the brain cells, except maybe a couple from breathing in the fumes from the dye! :D
